Ignite Innovations is a private label and OEM air freshener manufacturer. Since 2009 we have developed, produced and shipped air care for retailers and brands that sell it under their own names - car air fresheners, home fragrance, candles, reed diffusers, gels and sprays.
Most buyers sourcing private label air fresheners end up managing three or four suppliers: a fragrance house, a component maker, a filler and a packaging printer. We put all of that under one roof. Fragrance is formulated in our own laboratory, products are built on our own lines across an 18,000 m² production facility, and packaging, compliance documentation and freight are managed by the same team that quoted the job.
That matters most at the point where private label programs usually go wrong: the hand-offs. In-house fragrance laboratory
Our perfumers develop scent profiles for the way air care is actually used: fragrance that performs on paper, gel, polymer, wax or reed; that lasts through its rated life; and that stays stable on a hot dashboard or a sunny windowsill. Custom fragrance development is available on every program, and our library gives buyers proven, already-compliant options to launch from.
Automated, high-volume production
Production runs from facilities in Ningbo, China and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with new product development and merchandising based in Shenzhen. Automated, servo-driven assembly lets us hold quality at volume - producing around 30 million units a year - and dual-country production gives buyers flexibility on origin.
Packaging, print and retail display
We manage structural packaging, print, and retail display design so the product, pack and fixture are developed together. That includes blister cards, folding cartons, clamshells, counter-top PDQs and floor-standing displays.

Compliant before the first fill.
Every fragrance is formulated against the rules of the market it will be sold in. Our programs are built to IFRA standards and REACH, with VOC limits including CARB for products sold into California, and produced under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.
For each program we prepare the documentation retailers ask for - safety data sheets, IFRA certificates, allergen and ingredient disclosures, and label review for the target market - so compliance review runs alongside development instead of after it.
Minimums that fit the program.
Minimum order quantities depend on three things: the format, how it's decorated, and whether it uses existing tooling or new tooling.
- Library fragrance on an existing structure carries the lowest minimums and the shortest lead time - the fastest way to test a range at retail.
- Custom print and packaging on an existing structure adds artwork, proofing and print time, but no tooling.
- Custom fragrance or new tooling - a bespoke shape, vessel or closure - adds development and tooling time and raises minimums.

What is a private label air freshener manufacturer?
A private label air freshener manufacturer develops and produces air fresheners that a retailer or brand sells under its own name. Ignite handles fragrance, product, packaging, compliance and production; you own the brand and the customer.
What's the difference between private label, OEM and white label?
White label usually means putting your brand on an existing product with minimal change. Private label adds your own packaging, fragrance selection and specification. OEM means we build to your design or engineering spec - a custom shape, mechanism or formula. Ignite runs all three models.
