Candles are the anchor of most home fragrance aisles and the hardest format to get right at scale. Fragrance load, wax, wick and vessel all interact: change one and the burn changes. That's why our candle programs start in the fragrance laboratory and burn-testing, not on the artwork.

Fragrance built for wax
Our laboratory develops candle fragrances for cold throw - how it smells in the store - and hot throw - how it fills a room when lit. Launch from our library of 60+ in-house fragrances, adapt one to your brand, or brief a fully custom scent.
Wax and wick matched to the vessel
Wax blend, fragrance load and wick size are matched to each vessel's diameter so the candle burns to an even melt pool, without tunnelling or excessive sooting.
Burn testing before production
Pre-production samples are burn-tested for melt pool, flame height, soot and container temperature, and the results are part of the program file your quality team signs off.
Decoration and packaging
Vessel decoration, labels, lids, sleeves, cartons and gift boxes are designed and managed in-house with print and structural design - so the candle and its packaging are developed together, not bolted together at the end.

Minimum order quantities depend on the vessel, decoration and fragrance. Library fragrances in standard vessels with custom labels carry the lowest minimums; custom vessels, decoration and bespoke fragrance raise them. Seasonal programs need the longest runway, so share your on-shelf date early.

Yes. Ignite develops and manufactures candles that retailers and brands sell under their own name - from white label (your label on our standard candle) to fully custom private label programs.
Can you develop a custom candle fragrance?
Yes. Our in-house fragrance laboratory develops custom candle fragrances for cold and hot throw, or you can choose from our library of 60+ fragrances.
Which candle vessels do you offer?
